What is FRCD?

FRCD is the Family Resource Center on Disabilities, a nonprofit organization that offers information and support to families of children with any disability or chronic illness, age birth through 22.

How does FRCD offer services?

FRCD is staffed by parents of children with disabilities experienced and well-trained in special education law.  Much of our work is done over the phone.  Parent Consultants are available to discuss your individual concerns between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.  FRCD also offers training opportunities for parents and professionals.

All of our services are free for parents and all information is kept confidential!

What training opportunities does FRCD offer?

Does FRCD charge any fee for services?

All of our services and materials are free for parents in the Chicago Metropolitan area.
